This residency is about each planter growing in preparation towards what God has laid on their heart. It is customizable to dreams, experience and vision and will be adapted as the resident moves forward. There are a few guiding activities that will help each planter along in this process.
Each planter will be required to participate in NEO360’s LAUNCH Learning Community that will share best-practices and develop an understanding of experiencing the Kingdom, becoming a Disciple, engaging society as well as planting & leading a church.
The planter will also be a part of a ministry rotation within Renew Communities that will expose them to hands on training and experience in Family Ministries, Discipleship, Worship, Leadership and Fund Raising. They will be engaged
A large portion of the Residency program will be devoted to discerning next steps for year 2. This will include identifying a target area, recruiting a core team, developing and implementing a prayer strategy, creating a Church Planting Prospectus and fund raising plan.
Throughout the year the planter will complete the NEO360 Church Planting Assessment process. If it is determined that lead planter is not your best fit or if the church structure that Renew Communities is implementing is not a good match for the planter we will work to develop a next-steps plan that fits their personality and passions together.
Connection Points for the Resident
- Each planter will be assigned a staff or elder mentor they will meet with 1x/month
- Bi-weekly Resident Meetings with Andy Sikora and other Staff members to unpack and update how the process is going.
