RESIDENCY APPLICATION
It is our belief that participation in the Residency Program is for serious and well qualified church planters. Because of this the application and acceptance into this program may seem a bit tedious – this is important to us because want to be sure participants are willing to work through each required step as we begin this process.
Here are the necessary steps for applying to be a part of the Renew Residency Program:
Complete the Renew Communities Church Planting Residency Application.
Complete the Online Assessment at ChurchPlanterProfiles.com (select Renew Collective as agency).
Complete Assessment Interviews initiated by Renew Communities
Raise at least 50% of funds needed for Residency Program (minimum $5,000 to cover costs//maximum is full salary - more info at Residency Funding)
Each planter will be required to participate in NEO360’s Launch Learning Community that will share best-practices and develop an understanding of experiencing the Kingdom, becoming a Disciple, engaging society as well as planting & leading a church.
The planter will also be a part of a ministry rotation within Renew Communities that will expose them to hands on training and experience in Family Ministries, Discipleship, Worship, Leadership and Fund Raising. They will be engaged
A signficant portion of the Residency program will be devoted to discerning next steps for year two. This will include identifying a target area, recruiting a core team, developing and implementing a prayer strategy, creating a Church Planting Prospectus and fund raising plan.
Throughout the year the planter will complete the Church Planting Assessment process. If it is determined that lead planter is not your best fit or if the church structure that Renew Communities is implementing is not a good match for the planter we will work to develop a next-steps plan that fits their personality and passions together.
